Advanced Prosthetics Center, LLC is proud to be one of the only providers in the country offering amputee’s a ‘fitting guarantee.’ We would like you to know that we provide each of our patients with the highest quality care possible with a unique emphasis on improved outcomes.
AcknowledgementWhile we can use similar fitting techniques with most people, we realize that some people require a more individualized fitting process. This is especially true with our more challenging patients; in these cases a prosthetist is required to learn the best approach to successfully fitting a particular person. Fitting times can vary from as little as two weeks to as much as six months. We request your patience and understanding through this sometimes difficult process. Regardless of fitting time, we want you to know that we are working hard to achieve the swiftest and most favorable outcomes possible.
Fitting guarantee policyAdvanced Prosthetics Center, LLC shall adhere to the following “fitting guarantee” policy. The guarantee will not be upheld in cases where a practitioner is able to correlate a patient’s dissatisfaction with objective documented changes in volume.
While the guarantee is intended for patients that come to us with an existing prosthesis, it does apply to all prosthetic patients as long as there are no documented changes in limb size.
ConditionsAdvanced Prosthetics Center, LLC will adhere to the following conditions regarding its “fitting guarantee”:
- A fitting guarantee is offered to any patient that has either a mature residual limb or an individual who experiences no changes in the size or shape of their limb during the fitting process.
- The same guarantee will be extended to patients without mature residual limb but with the following exceptions:
A) The guarantee is not applicable if patient dissatisfaction arises from fitting problems that can be directly attributed to limb shrinkage/change.
B) To arrive at this conclusion the patient’s practitioner must compare before and after measurements/photos/CAD-CAM illustrations to conclude that a change in limb size/shape has occurred.
C) We will also be unable to uphold this guarantee when our efforts have failed due to documented non-compliance by the patient. Both prosthetist and therapist will provide documentation to support such an instance.
